Rev Tom Fisk

Minister

Tom has been the Minister at Swalecliffe Free Church since November 2020, beginning his role in the midst of the Pandemic having completed his training at Spurgeon’s College in the Summer of 2020. Tom is a keen preacher with a heart for sharing gospel truths and a desire to have those truths heard here in Swalecliffe. Tom also has a passion for social justice particularly on the areas of refugees, the homeless and those struggling with Mental Health.

Tom’s favourite Bible passage is Micah 6:8: ‘He has shown you, O mortal, what is good, and what does the lord require of you? To Act Justly and to Love Mercy and to Walk Humbly with your God.’

Tom has a beautiful wife, Cassie, and together they have two gorgeous sons who keep them well and truly entertained and bring them daily blessings! He likes sport, especially football, running, reading and politics and is always grateful for coffee with family and friends, old and new. He looks forward to meeting and getting to know you.

Our Deacons

As a Baptist Church, we operate with a Leadership Team made up of the Minister and the deacons. We are extremely blessed to have such faithful people serving Swalecliffe and God in this way and making decisions to advance his kingdom. The deacons we have have been serving for many years, at our church and at others before that and come together with wisdom and love for which we as a church are grateful.
